AURIGA MEDICAL LAUNCHED Burlington, MA, USA, February 2003 - Auriga Medical which designs, manufactures and delivers high quality radioactive products for use in Brachytherapy, cancer treatment and medical research has been launched. Auriga Medical is the new name for the medical therapy business of QSA, a business owned by UK-based AEA Technology. A key part of Auriga Medical's strategy will be to form strategic alliances with radioimmunotherapy developers within the pharmaceutical industry and position the medical products business among nuclear medicine physicians, radiation therapy specialists and radiopharmacists in Europe, the USA and Asia. The company has significant expertise in the development, production and delivery of high quality radioisotopes, including more than 15 years providing Yttrium-90 chloride for clinical use in cancer treatment. It also provides a unique product design and application consultancy service and calibration program.
