Uwe Beinlich is the Business Manager for Auriga Medical (TM) in North America. He has a Diploma in Engineering and has more than 25 years experience in the design and manufacture and use of sealed radiation sources used in Health Physics, Nuclear Medicine and Therapeutic applications. He launched and has been Business Manager of the Isotrak(TM) instrument calibration sources business while QSA was part of Amersham International plc. and was responsible for the addition of the C-Trak(TM) range of Sentinel Node Scintigraphy intra-operative probe devices into the product range. He has a strong background in the physics of radioactivity measurements and continues as a representative member of the Council on Ionizing Radiation Measurements and Standards (CIRMS) and liason with NIST.

Dr Uwe Schwarz

Project Manager, Y90

Dr Uwe Schwarz, MA, PhD is the project manager for Y90. He brings with him over 15 years experience in radiopharmaceutical research and production. Prior to joining AEA Technology QSA, he was Managing Director and Head of Production for the radiopharmaceutical company Altmann Therapie. He has a Ph.D and Masters in Chemistry from the University of Dresden, where he carried out extensive research in the radiopharmaceutical production of Y-90, and At-211, and enzymatic methods of radiolabelling antibodies via saccharide transfer.
